Beautiful Angle
Formed in November, 2002 Tacoma, Washington’s Beautiful Angle puts an interesting twist on the typical poster art that one would see wheatpasted around town. Every poster is printed by graphic designer Lance Kagey and writer Tom Llewellyn. The pair often collaborate with guest designers for some of their monthly releases. Printed on a Challenge proof press in editions of 120, 80 of the prints are posted around Tacoma, while the rest are for sale in their online shop.

This print is my favorite because it was printed on donated maps.

OUR LATEST GIGPOSTER
We got to design and print a poster for Darling Imperial's farewell show at the Berkley Front. They let us do whatever we wanted, so we went with vintage lettering and a weathered, faded feel.

that third poster pretty much sums up my guiding philosophy in life. my career path is (1) do something so they’ll let me have a boat (2) mess about in said boat.
when I reach (2) I’ll ring you all up and we can all kick it gatsby-style, but you know, on a boat.

Nice post. Thanks for the props. Just a note that the name is “Beautiful Angle” — not “Angel”
Because we’re not really angels.
