Bison Bookbinding & Letterpress
Bison Bookbinding and Letterpress opened its doors in 2004 in Bellingham, Washington. Operated by Carley James and her husband, Kevin, Bison designs and produces everything from business cards and gig posters to packaging. Their philosophy is to maintain as small as an eco footprint as possible. Bison uses vegetable based ink, recycled or handmade paper, and uses printing plates that can be easily recycled. The pair goes as far as to make their own tree free paper in their own studio. Aside from doing custom design work for clients they also sell handmade papergoods in their Etsy shop.

OUR LATEST GIGPOSTER
We got to design and print a poster for Darling Imperial's farewell show at the Berkley Front. They let us do whatever we wanted, so we went with vintage lettering and a weathered, faded feel.
