Brendan Monroe Limited Edition Book

One of my favorite artists is Berkley, California based Brendan Monroe. His works in acrylic, silkscreen, an sulpture makes one reminiscent of looking under a microscope in science class. Brendan’s characters are humorous, mischievous, and slightly tragic.

Brendan also creates beautiful deep abstract pieces that recall muscle fiber and marble.

A couple of months ago Brendan released his first book through Park Life, which came in an open edition and a limited edition boxed set.The book is 176 pages and including photographs of 70 paintings, 15 sculptures and installations, and costs $32.00.

The limited edition boxed set includes a signed first printing of the book, a fold out magazine printed and signed my Brendan, an Intaglio print, and a custom made slipcase and is priced at $200.00. The limited edition set is still available, but at just 55 sets, they should not be available for long.

Also, Brendan has an etsy store which he often updates with older prints, zines, and other items that cannot be found on his site. His etsy store sells out quickly, so check back often.
