Concert Poster Artist: The Silent Giants

I first heard of The Silent Giants late last year on OMGPosters. Their packaging design for Ra Ra Riot’s The Rhumb Line was given high praise, and deservedly so.  Last week, the band was at the Blind Pig, and I bought the vinyl.  (By the way, they’re a really good band!  Read my review of the show on Let’s Trade Mix Tapes.)  The album art is the perfect example of what these guys do well: clean design with only a few colors that is simple but not boring. They also designed a corresponding poster that keeps with the nautical theme. (A rhumb line is a path that a ship would follow in order to keep at a constant bearing.)
