I’m discovering so many good illustrators thanks to Gemma Correll‘s Flickr group, What I Wore Today. It’s like the antithesis of all those fancy fashion-y groups, because people draw themselves in their real world outfits, holey clothes and leg stubble abound.

Carolyn Alexander is one the standout contributors to this group. She resides in France, although she isn’t French, as this first illustration demonstrates:

OUR LATEST GIGPOSTER

We got to design and print a poster for Darling Imperial's farewell show at the Berkley Front. They let us do whatever we wanted, so we went with vintage lettering and a weathered, faded feel.
