Jason Limon: “Into the Mystic” at G1988 SF
Jason Limon is going to be part of a group show at Gallery 1988 SF entitled “Into the Mystic”. It opens tomorrow and runs through December 5th. Here are a few of my favorites. I especially love the ornate frames that he chose and the worn texture he created in this first piece.
The rest of his paintings for “Into the Mystic” can be seen on Jason Limon’s Flickr. There, you’ll also find some interesting stories that explain the creatures he’s made up. (They harvest human female heads in order to reproduce. Luckily for me, they only like brunettes with green eyes.)
By the way, it’s worth noting that I found Jason’s paintings on Twitter! If you’d like to follow us, we’re @perfectlaughtr.

OUR LATEST GIGPOSTER
We got to design and print a poster for Darling Imperial's farewell show at the Berkley Front. They let us do whatever we wanted, so we went with vintage lettering and a weathered, faded feel.
