Kathy Leisen @ City Bird, Detroit

Christina and I stopped by City Bird on Saturday to shop for a few birthday gifts as well as drop off some our new screenprints. We didn’t realize that earlier in the month City Bird held an opening for Detroit artist Kathy Leisen‘s solo show. Kathy’s painting are quite striking and extremely well priced, with some pieces priced as low as $50. The show is up until May 8th, so if you find yourself in Midtown before then it’s very much worth seeing in person.

We got to design and print a poster for Darling Imperial's farewell show at the Berkley Front. They let us do whatever we wanted, so we went with vintage lettering and a weathered, faded feel.
