My Life As a Number: Keegan Wenkman
Keegan Wenkman, also known as Keegan Onefoot round these parts, debuted a slew of new work in Minneapolis over the weekend. XYandZ hosted a solo show entitled “My Life As a Number”. In addition to original illustrations, Keegan released a beautiful letterpress printed, hand-bound book called Codex Viginti Sex. This edition focuses on the number 26, and he plans to self-publish a new edition each year working backwards from 26 until he reaches zero. Burlesque Design also released 6 screenprints at the opening.
All six screenprints can be seen at onefootinfront.com. The detail shots of the printing process at Burlesque are on Flickr.

OUR LATEST GIGPOSTER
We got to design and print a poster for Darling Imperial's farewell show at the Berkley Front. They let us do whatever we wanted, so we went with vintage lettering and a weathered, faded feel.

GORGEOUS! Also, I love the word “Codex.” I stayed up really late one night watching a documentary about the Codex Gigas, as much because I liked hearing the overly dramatic History Channel narrator say “Codex Gigas” over and over again as anything else.
