Our Invitations Are Done!

Dennis and I decided to design and screenprint anything made of paper for our wedding. We were right on schedule with the invitations until we ran into a LOT of trouble burning the screens. Seriously, everything that could go wrong, did! We had to work night and day to get these out on time. After this saga, we’re soon going to write a troubleshooting guide for anyone else who might want to try screenprinting.

We want to wait until after the wedding to show all of our paper-y stuff, but I couldn’t help but show you a sneak peak of what we’ve been living and breathing the past couple of weeks.

Burning a screen...one of many attempts. Rig = 1 washing machine, 1 ladder, 1 random box, a light, and some kind of long board.

Time to print! We found these sweet glasses in the paper box - thanks French!
