Meth Motel Print for Meth and Hot Dogs 2 at Lift Detroit

We wanted to participate in the upcoming Meth and Hotdogs 2 show at Lift Designer Toys & Gallery in Royal Oak, curated by Kill Taupe. Kill Taupe suggested that we do a collaboration of sorts. So he tasked us with creating a print using his Meth and Hotdogs Character. We decided to push ourselves a bit and try to make our first ever four color process print.

Olly Moss

Olly Moss‘ work is simple, yet genius. This is the kind of designer that I think most people strive to be. One that creates attractive, clean work that gets the point across. Be sure to check out his Flickr photostream to see more of his work.

Joshua Petker

This is quite impressive considering how many letterpress studios have switched to photopolymer plates.

Alyson Sommerfield

These prints by Michigan’s own Alyson Sommerfield are awesome. Each of these linoleum block prints, measuring 8″ x 10″ are drawn, cut and, pulled by hand.
