Starred #8

Instead of getting to play with our new press, Dennis and I have been mired in screenprinting work this week.  This 8th edition of Starred follows that theme.

The Decemberists

Dennis and I are in Columbus to see The Decemberists tonight.  We figured it would be a good excuse for a mini vacation, since we aren’t going anywhere until our honeymoon in September.  I have mixed feelings about the show being general admission.  I like standing because everyone gets more into it.  But then my legs start to ache and a teenage scene girl hits me with her giant purse when she turns her back to the stage, taking repeated pictures of herself and her friends, always with the camera held high above her head of course.  Then I feel old and get cranky and fight the urge to spill my beer on her so her parents get suspicious…

…here’s a few of my favorite Decemberist-themed illustrations.
