New Work From Derek Hess

Derek Hess recently released this awesome 9″ x 29″ giclee entitled “True.” What I like best about the piece, aside from the $40 price tag is that Derek used a clipping from the MMPI personality test.

Derek also put up a few new original pieces for sale as well in his online shop.

New Derek Hess Originals / Print

A Perfect Laughter favorite, Derek Hess, has released a originals in his gallery. I like how he used vintage coloring book pages for the holiday pieces. Also, Derek has released a print offset print , ‘I Wish I Had an Angel’, based off of his original of the same name. It measures 22″ x 28″ and costs $50.

Cpop Gallery Closing Closing – June 13, 2009 at 6pm

Cpop Gallery’s final show, It’s all about C ends this Saturday. After this the gallery is going to a strictly online presence. If you have yet to have the opportunity to see the show it is well worth the time effort. This is your last chance to see work by well know artists such as: Shepard Fairey, Glenn Barr, Tara McPherson, and Derek Hess in the same place for what I anticipate will be quite some time. Some of the artists are also expected to be on hand. Also, keep an eye on www.cpop.com as the owners plan to launch a completely renovated site with online exhibitions, an online gallery, and shop.
