Bikini Birdie

Bikini Birdie is a recently launched photography / design studio consisting of husband and wife team Megan Spelman and illustrator Vicent Poquet. The former Michiganders, whom now live in Spain create great wedding invitations and photographs by combining Megan’s photos and Vincent’s illustrations. A Couple of Questions for HAM

Well, this is it. Dylan Haigh and Kristy Martino are the last couple in our interview series. Luckily, they’ve got their hands in enough projects to keep you hopping all over the internets for quite a while. OK Great is where Dylan and Kristy began blogging, and still do. After a while, a couple of the OK Great kids started their own blogs, including Dylan’s Hard Feelings. There, he somehow unearths about 47 amazing, unheard of artists every single day. Then, in a passive aggressive attempt to get Kristy to take pictures again, Dylan bought her a camera and built her a photo blog called Nothing Nice.

In addition to her fashion photography skills learned at FIT, Kristy is a killer writer. And Dylan is like an unstoppable steamroller of creativity. It’s fitting that the two chose a meat cleaver for their logo for HAM, or Haigh and Martino. HAM is a brand new creative shop that allows them to put all of their many talents to great use, together. The amount of work they’ve done while HAM is still in its infancy is astounding.

A Couple of Questions for Tiger in a Jar

Tiger in a Jar is Matt and Julie, a husband and wife duo who are truly renaissance creative souls. They make videos, plan parties, take beautiful photos, and hunt for vintage home decor. Their stop motion animated videos are my favorite. They’re so delicate, and precious, and you can tell that so much love was put into them, whether they’re meant to document something or just simply be a creative expression.

A Couple of Questions for enormouschampion

enormouschampion is a collaboration between Jordan Provost and Jason Wong that results in beautifully designed cards, prints, and other paper goods. Their latest project together is a brand new line of e-greeting cards, which just debuted over at Paperless Post.

In addition to working on enormouschampion, each of them has their own independent endeavor: Jordan is a photographer, and Jason is one of the typographic wizards behind Friends of Type.
