Color Inspiration: Hannah Stouffer

Hannah Stouffer‘s colors are very striking, but there’s a color story going on in each piece that holds everything together.

I love how vivid these are, but they’re still cohesive. I’m working on a client project that won’t involve screenprinting for once. I’m not used to the lack of color restriction, which is throwing me off a little bit. I feel like if I don’t use every crayon in the box, it’ll be a wasted opportunity! These are great color references, not to mention that her illustration skills are crazy inspiring.

This Saturday, Jennifer will be one of sixteen artists represented at “Women: A Night of Art and Culture” at The Crofoot. In addition to art, there will be a full lineup of music, headlined by the ever awesome Lightning Love. And Secret Twins, which is quite possibly the most adorable band I’ve ever seen in my life, is playing as well. To round out the night there will be comedy acts, a food demo and a fashion show. More details are on The Crofoot’s website.
