The Linocuts of Sherrie York

While researching the best way to sort out registration for linoleum block printing I stumbled across the blog of artist Sherrie York. Her blog chronicles the production of her nature themed prints, my favorite being the Intimate Landscapes Series, and is a great resource for all things linocut.

We got to design and print a poster for Darling Imperial's farewell show at the Berkley Front. They let us do whatever we wanted, so we went with vintage lettering and a weathered, faded feel.
